Hello, and welcome to 'Your Body is Water'.
We would like to give you a little introduction to who we are, and why we are creating this blog.

About 10-11 years ago my husband was first diagnosed with gout, since then he has experienced multiple severe flares where he would be in intense pain and have great difficulty walking. We researched and tried numerous 'solutions' and changes in diet, with no improvement. He was placed on various medications including multiple courses of prednisone, indomethacin, and allopurinol. He would get some relief but was never really pain free and became very limited in what he could do physically. This became a great source of discouragement for him and our family.

A few months ago, a friend told him about alkaline Kangen water and started bringing him water to drink. I was extremely skeptical and was suspicious that Enagic - the company making the water ionizer - might be a scam and just out to take people's money.
Within a few weeks my husband was beginning to feel less pain in his feet and able to do more physically. It was then that I came to the conclusion that if this water made him feel better, I wanted him to have it no matter the cost. In addition to my husband feeling better, his lab results show marked decrease in his uric acid levels (indicative for gout) also his cholesterol levels have improved dramatically, particularly his triglycerides decreased from over 900 to just 376.

We got our Enagic Leveluk SD501 and our whole family is using the water. We are all experiencing the feelings of more energy and better hydration. There are so many more uses than just drinking water, which we will be sharing in future blog posts.

We have been sharing the water with many people because we have experienced so many benefits already, so beginning a blog seemed like a good way to share more information. We are still learning a lot about alkaline water, and specifically about the Enagic products which produce Kangen water, and why it is better than the other ionizers on the market.
It is not, and never will be our intent to try to 'put down' or criticize other ionizer companies to make Enagic products look better. I firmly believe in positive marketing, not negative; therefore we will share with you the benefits of Kangen water based on their own merit.
